When i was a youngster We didn't have the option of the internet where you can get/listen to all music it was buy it or don't listen to it Music video's and Radio was the only guide there was. So you would Listen to the tapes you had over and over. I think that's mildly interesting big difference these days it's great for music fans now.

Yeah I agree, I think the internet has been great for finding new music and making it easier to access as well as for musicians putting it out there. As far as I'm concerned, its better in that it puts the control back into the individual, rather than what commercial radio stations want you to listen to.
I also think that it's revolutionised the record industry so much so that many artists have come to terms with the fact that they can't totally rely on physical music sales, and thus there is more of an emphasis on live performances and offering more (e.g. dvd's, shirts, etc.) with cd's/records. It's also reduced the need for artists to rely on getting a record contract and put the power back into their hands- bands can now independently produce and release albums through the internet, cutting out the middle-man (record company) so to speak.
