Best Metal Vocal Performance

Was discussing with some friends the other day and thought id raise it here

for me, Rob Halford in Painkiller, Beyond the Realms of Death and Victim of Changes would top my list, but there are many others

For a Heavy Metal vocalist I would say Lemmy Kilmister from the albums Motorhead and Iron Fist, he has the rawest voice out, and very much suited this genre.

He is definitely one of the best and most distinctive.

Anyway, I'd have to say Ronnie James Dio is my favourite. To sing in Sabbath, Dio and Rainbow (Blackmore AND Dio!!- very underrated band imo) is pretty unbeatable, but with a voice like his you can understand why though.
