Ron Asheton best known for being co-song writer and guitarist for The Stooges was found dead on Tuesday morning.

RIP Ron!

Saw this on the news, quite disheartening as the Stooges along with Iggy are one of the few true punk bands I like.
Have been terrible losses to the rock community in recent times... Richard Wright, Mitch Mitchell and now Ron Asheton. At least their legacy through their music lives on.
