Thought I'd do a very occasional blog about my amatuer music endeavours:

GIG 1: BUSHFIRE BUSKING
LOCATION: SCHOOL HALL
TIME: A LUNCHTIME, ON THURSDAY 19th FEB

To raise money for the victims of the Victorian Bushfires in Australia, I performed a few musical numbers to raise some money.

It was my first live gig for almost a year, and I got a very good reception from a crowd that mostly hadn't heard me play before (or sing, for that matter)

The songs I did:

  • Danger - JJ Cale/Eric Clapton
  • Handle With Care - Traveling Wilburys
  • Bad Moon Rising - Creedence Clearwater Revival
  • Khe Sanh - Cold Chisel
  • Last Night - Traveling Wilburys
  • San Fransisco Bay Blues - Traditional
  • Mr Tambourine Man - Bob Dylan
  • Tequila Sunrise - The Eagles
  • Something - The Beatles
  • End Of The Line - Traveling Wilburys

I know the Wilburys got more than their fair share, but hell, it was short notice, so I just did the songs I'm best at Smile
